This example is but one of literally thousands of poor decisions made by school districts in regard to technology purchases. Thousands and thousands of dollars each year are wasted by poor tech decisions. While I do not necessarily agree that MacBook Pros are in and of itself a bad decision, every tech purchase must be analyzed for cost/benefits ratio and prioritized. http://amplify.com/u/1idv
